Hi,
I have a 2005 Suburban now as TV and I use a 400W inverter to power stuff in the truck while enroute (PC, GPS, 3cu ft fridge, etc). In the other TV I had (Trailblazer) there was a convenient power centre under the back seat so I could connect the high capacity clips directly to battery power to allow more power to the inverter than just the aux cigarette lighter connectors. No such thing in the Suburban. Anyone know where a safe place with sufficient power is under the dash? I would rather not run wires through the firewall to the battery. Thanks, bj 05 Chev Suburban 4x4 98 Coleman Sun Ridge |

bj,
I've heard folks say they've tapped into the circuit for the power seats for low wattage inverters. It might be worth looking at that wiring, fuse size, etc., to see if it'll work for you. Regards, Richard 2007 HitchHiker Champagne 37CKRD 5th Wheel towed by an '06 GMC Dually Diesel. |

Thanks Richard! Will look closely at the electrical centre under the dash.
